Attractive High-Resolution Snorefest

Good grief, this one’s dull.

As those of us living in the UK have been deluged last weekend with walls of rain which should traditionally have arrived in the month of April, I thought that it might be appropriate to make this episode’s review “April Showers”.

Given that I had no clue what the game might involve, I was extremely pleasantly surprised when I loaded it up. It was absolutely beautiful, with lovely graphics drawn up in a high-res graphics mode.

Competent Dig-Dig “Tribute”

I’ve done quite a few reviews of requests and recommendations recently, so I thought that I’d have another go at something completely off the wall. I had a friend over, and together we went through some titles. What could possibly be better than this, eh? GOLD-DIGGER. The minds boggled.

Multi-versioned cross-genre platform caper.

Hello everyone, and thanks for all the wonderful feedback since last time. It’s been a while! Not only have I had some assignments to complete this week, but I chose entirely the wrong game to review for such a busy period.

Over the next few weeks I’m going to be working my way through all the great suggestions that you’ve been passing my way. Now, Stickhead (or Marc) writes:

Breakneck Bounce-Happy Sideways-Scroller

Hello all, and apologies for my absence this weekend, during which I enjoyed a short holiday, and then put my back out. I write this review from the discomfort of my bed, wherein I lay disabled like an old woman.

Time for another request. Phill writes:

Ransack by Peter Scott, Starship Command, Stryker’s Run or Codename Droid…

Well, I know the latter three of those, so I’m opting to try out Ransack, by Peter Scott. Time for first impressions:

Rather Clever Monarchic Jewellery-Snatch

Well - I have to say, I’m really pleased - I had tonnes of requests for reviews - so to those who requested beauts like Sim, Twin Kingdom Valley, Estra and Wizadore, I say to you: “Hang on in there, your game’s time will come”, but I wanted to take the chance of an evening off to have a look at this weird number, requested by “Jagfest_UK”. He says:

One I remember from school that I still haven’t seen anywhere was a game called Tower Bridge.
